Hello,

I'm upgrading to an intel D865GBF mainboard. I'll be migrating my harddrive
from my old mainboard (an intel ). i use win2k pro,. with the most recent
service packs

Intel reccomends that I do a clean install of my o/s first, then install the
mainboard drivers. Ugh!

Will I have any comaptability problems? I plan on installing the intel
chipset drivers before I migrate the harddrive. My thought is that the new
motherboard drivers will be in place when the hard drive boots up on the new
mainboard.

appreciate your input. thanks

Hi Phillip,

Installing the motherboard drivers prior to migrating is the recommended
practice.
