Migrating contact list and e-mail folders to new install.

I upgraded my computer from a 20gb hard drive to a 200gb hard drive.

Before I did the upgrade, I used the backup feature in Outlook 2003 to save
my .pst data files to th hard drive.

When I reinstalled Outlook 2003, there was not any option under the file
menu to restore the saved files. I tried to open the folder on the hard drive
that I had created for, and saved my data in from the 20gb hard drive. Acces
was denied to that folder, so I could not open it to get the files.

I still have the 20gb hard drive in my computer, designated as drive "d"
now, so I can access the drive and search for files then transfer them. In
all of my searches, I cannot find the files, or folders that I need to
transfer to Outlook 2003 on my new drive "c".

Can someone help me out here? I am an independent associate with AFLAC, and
have many important contacts saved in my Contact List, and several important
email folders with saved emails that I don't need to lose.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Include hidden files in your search. If you intend to keep your old drive
as a second hard drive, you can also just use the .pst file that you used
before. Outlook->File->Open->Outlook Data File.
