Migrate User Profile from Domain to Domain

Is there anyway to migrate a users Windows XP Profile to another domain?
We have just restructured our domain with an new name and may of the user
have complained about having to set up all of their preferences again.
Anyone know of a tool that will accomplish this?

Hi -

No tool required ;-)

When logged on as a user who has administrator rights on
the machine right-click "My Computer" and select
Properties --> Advanced --> User Profiles --> Settings
and you'll see how to copy a profile from one user
account to another.

Please note that neither the source nor target profiles
may be in use during the copy operation - so logging on
with the local Administrator account might be the way to
go.

More stuff -

If you overwrite the "All Users" profile all users will
get the settings - if you overwrite the "Default User"
profile only new accounts will get the settings. One of
them should work for you just fine.
