Ok... jeepers.. another problem... ggrrrr

When I enter the time of midnight using military format 24:00, or using 0:00, it does not display in the cell, but it does correctly in the formula bar. Is there a way I can correct this please? I have the 1904 in "Options" selected, but it doesn't seem to be helping... ideas?

Thank you... sorry...

Do you have Custom formatting or conditional formatting set to hide 0
values? How about the Tools/Options/View Zero values checkbox checked?

I just upgraded to Office 2007, so am still trying to get used to the new
layout and where to find everything... they moved it all around!!

I do have zero set to be seen... and all my fields that are formatted for
times are only that... setup to show a time, nothing special... the only
ones that are special are the fields with formulas...

Not sure why it won't let me enter midnight... also, when I try to enter the
time as 24:00 I get an error message unless I have a date first then the
time (ex: 1/1/04 12:00:00 AM is how it appears in the formula bar, but in
the cell it displays 12:00 AM), which is not what I want anyway....

Ideas? Thanx for your help... I appreciate it.

What does the error message say?
[I wonder whether you have some Data Validation conditions set?]

Of course most organisations wouldn't use 00:00 or 24:00; they would use
23:59 or 00:01 to avoid the confusion of data at midnight, but Excel ought
to handle it.
