MIDI Files Information

Hi all.
I have 1 question about MIDI (*.mid) files.
Does this file has any kind of information about title, authors etc?
If Yes, how can I extract this information using C#?
(I don't need code. I need only an idea )

There is a place in the spec for a copyright, a title, and track
names. With google you can find sites with the MIDI file format
spec'ed out (http://www.music-center.com.br/spec_smf.htm for
instance).
