I think I should report this to EBay abuse. In fact, I have.

Bob,

What address did you use for EBay Abuse? I got a bounce from "abuse [AT] ebay
[DOT] com", that address redirected to "safeharbor [AT] ebay [DOT] com", which
bounced with "no longer in use, fill out our form on our web page yada yada",
IOW EBay Abuse being useless.

Richard,

Thta's as it may be. But if we encourage advertising here, we may get more than
just legit products like this. Legit or not, the OP is still spamming.

Chuck,

I advertise Ad-Aware and Spybot Search and Destroy continually, because I
believe in them. Many others do likewise.

If the OP purchased the product and is thrilled with it, there is no reason
that he can not recommend it to others likewise!

I've never seen you "advertise" anything unless someone requested
help/advice first.

And that's the difference, the OP in this tread was giving unsolicited
advertisement, spam, and many groups.

Richard:

Recommending products such as Ad-Aware and Spybot S&D such as you and many
others do, is in direct response to posted questions and problems.

Now, this guy is a spammer. Nobody asked about the product. It was
unsolicited advertising. And, apparently MS thinks so too, as I see the
original posts have appeared to have been deleted.

Thank you.

www.spamcop.net also is accepting newsgroup spam for processing now. That's
who I report it to at any rate. They have a nice handy dandy free service
available which is nice. It makes a great tool to add to your things to do
to fill a boring afternoon at any rate.
