I have somehow encoded all of the documents on my external hard drive. I can
read them and I am being asked to choose a format. I have tried everything.
Can you help?
 
Thank you so much for pointing out my short comings as a typist. Please
change to "I can't read them"
 
Why can't you read them? They won't open? They show up with nonsense
characters? They show up blank or with boxes?

What version of Word?
