Microsoft Word 2002 :)

When I begin to type a word processing document word freezes and message appears in blue bar at top stating "not responding". I then have to close down document and start again but it then does it again. Tryed re-booting but still it happens. Any ideas anyone and maybe you could enlighten me as to why this happens only had computer since begging of Jan04. HP pavillion a309 with 2.4GHz 40GB Hard Drive. Could it be my computer

Use msnews.microsoft.com as your server.
