I work for the medical community and there are special symbols that I need in
my everyday word processing needs. How can I download additional symbols
that I might need to use?

I know what Dawn needs - I work in the business office for 6 practices that
are affiliated with one of our local hospitals. I haven't seen a font that
has the symbols but then again, I haven't looked.

Try Googling for medical fonts and see if anything hits. I've been curious
about them as well, so if you *do* find one, drop me a line.I'd tell you if
I find one but you're rather anonymous.

If you will describe the symbols, perhaps someone can tell you where to find
them. For those that are alphabetic characters with a line over them, see
http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/Overbar.htm. For others, search Arial
Unicode MS.

JoAnn,

I am not sure what you are saying when you said that I am anonymous?
