I have recently built another computer and used the old
hard drive as D:\ so that I could without problems
transfer the data I had in Windows XP to the new larger
drive in C:\ I have tried just about everything,
including the file transfer wizard and have had to give
up. I have many files in MS Office (Word & Outlook that I
would love to transfer, and that goes also for the
settings as I am also having problems with email. I would
therefore like to know if there is anyone within this
community that can assist me.

With file transfer, you need to set old hd as old computer, transfer
the data to a folder you create, when its thru, transfer data to cd.
In new xp,set as new,set to browse for data, install and open to
the file transfer data, then adjust in browse, close all open pages.
