microsoft will not let me type

when i type on the page at the bottom of the screen it says the modification
selected is locked and wont let me do anything.
 
If all new and existing documents are locked, then it's probably either
because you have an expired trial version of Word/Office, or because you
did not activate your Word/Office software.
