Does anyone have experience of using this engine rather than Jet with MS
Acess 2003. Is there a restriction on the number of clients you can link to
the engine.
Because it is true client server architecture rather than file server is it
worth the additional learning curve in working with SQL.

Thanks Stefan but it doesn't answer my question.
I want to use MSSE2005 as the database engine on an XP Pro 'server' peer to
peer
network. XP Pro has the restriction that only 10 computers can
simultaneously connect to it, however Albert D Kallal thinks that using
MSSE2005 may get over this limitation but is not sure. I need confirmation by
someone who is running this setup with more than 10 clients connected.

Hu, this question wasn't in your op. But Albert is imho right as this
restriction is normally mentioned with accessing shares. SQL Server is a
service which has nothing to do with that.

Thanks Stefan that's what I was looking for.
