microsoft spreadsheets

i have windows XP home edition. when you hit the start button and the box
opens there was always 2 microsoft works icons (one for letter writing and
one to do spreadsheets). i havent used the spreadsheets in a while but today
i noticed the icon is gone and i cannot find the program to open up blank
worksheets, i only have a word pad icon now for letters (it used to say
microsoft works). when i scan my computer for microsoft works or
spreadsheets it finds nothing. i did do a system restore a couple months ago
- did that delete my microsoft works programs. how do i get them back? i
need to make some spreadsheets for work. any help? thank you.

The TaskLauncher lets you choose which particular works progran to open.

Depending on which version you have, this will open the
msworksTaskLauncher...
Start | Run | Type: msworks | Click OK

This should open Microsoft Works Spreadsheet...
Start | Run | Type: wksss | Click OK

Hope this helps. Let us know.
