Microsoft Search is TERABLE/AWFUL

I have a corrupted start-up in one of my programs and the Vista uninstaller
will not remove it - I know that Microsoft has an uninstaller/clean-up you
can download that works great. Sooooooo I do to search to find it - 35 min
later I am pulling out my hair and screaming at the computer!!!! I have the
same problem 98% of the time I try to use seach - all it ever does is take
you to a bunch of write ups - most of which are too technical for the average
computer user - and you can NEVER find what you need. Why don't they have a
simple search when you are just trying to find a spacific site or product or
download - and a more technical search if you need something more in
depth???????? Anyway, can anyone tell me where to go to down load the
Microsoft uninstaller (not the .net one) the program one - I know it is here
somewhere,

Got Google (it IS your friend!)?

Google "Microsoft uninstaller" (even though it's not the correct
term).

First hit on the list.

Scroll down on the article to find the download link.

unbelievable - you have to go to Google to find a Microsoft product ?!?!?

Yup.

You can even find out how to spell "terrible" using Google.

Thank you for the tip - and thank you for the spelling correction!! You made
me smile - and the way my day has been that is quite an accomplishment.
