I am planning on going to Vista. Question I have is: Is the current version
of Microsoft Reader (rather old at this point) going to be compatible? I can
not find anything regarding this on the MS website. Can anyone offer any
ideas?

Thanks.

Installed here on Vista Home Premium. Runs good with no problems to date.

Yes, Microsoft Reader works fine under Vista.

Does MS Reader respect ClearType settings/preferences of OS level _within
Vista_, or does it _still_ have its own settings that make ClearType always
enabled?

This is quite signif issue for tablet PC users in portrait mode. Sub-pixel
rendering nasty at 90 degrees!

tnx.

I have Vista home premium and am having a problem with microgoft reader
2.1.1. I open the reader but when I click on a book the program closes down.
I only have my one machine but I've used up my activation quota. I've
uninstalled and reinstalled the microsoft reader. I downloaded a fresh copy
of Microsoft reader and did a unstall/reinstall with no luck. How can I get
this working. I have windows update on automatic and am uptodate on my
updates for Vista and Microsoft reader.
