Microsoft Private Folder 1.0

I have a support question that I haven't been able to solve elsewhere, I hope
someone can help me.

A while back I downloaded Microsoft Private Folder 1.0 on another computer.
That computer died and I saved the hard drive, which I now use as an external
hard drive on the new computer. I can't access the folder on that drive now
though, but I know I'm using the right password. Can anybody tell me how to
access that folder on the external drive?? It has important stuff in it and I
can't figure out how to transfer it to my new computer, access it, etc.

Your problems are precisely why MS withdrew the tool and its support.

Thanks to you both... I did finally figure it out. I had the MS private
folder installed on this computer and when I opened the folder on the
external drive, it was reading it through this computers installation of the
program. I uninstalled it on this computer, transfered the folder to this
computer, reinstalled the program on this computer and when I tried to open
the folder was prompted with the old password and it worked! Whew..
