Microsoft pop up error message...every time I'm online...

Hello, the message says:

Microsoft Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvvience. If you were in
the middle of something, the information you were working
on might be lost. "Restart Microsoft Explorer".

Please tell Microsoft about this problem. We have created
an error report that you can send to hilp us improve
Microsoft Explorer. We treat this report as confidential
and anonymous. To see what data this report contains,
click here. Send error report...Don't send.

Can anyone please tell me how to get rid of this? After it
appears, it forces me off of the internet.

Sorry Ramesh MVP, but I followed your instructions to
a "T" and it didn't work. Do you have any more suggestions?
And, NO I have not been visiting ANY porn web sites. I
would swear to that. This may have been caused by
downloading Direct X from CNET. Other than that I do not
know. I am currently running Nortons 2003 and Zone Alarm
Pro.
