Microsoft Plus! Service Pack

I can't get the Microsoft Plus! Service Pack to work when I use Windows XP
SP2. When I double click on the file, the computer does nothing. No
messages or anything. However, if I don't use XP SP2, I can get the Service
Pack to work with no problems, so whenever I reformat my computer, I have to
remember to install the service pack for Plus! before I update to XP SP2.
Anyone else have these issues and is there something to correct this
problem? Thanks.

Let me add that I *do* see the preparing to install window popup for a
second, and then it disappears and then nothing. When I go into the task
manager and check the processes, the Plus Service Pack installation is
there, but there's nothing on my screen or in my taskbar.

1. On your computer, click Start, point to All Programs, and then click Microsoft Plus!.
2. In Microsoft Plus!, click About Plus! in the upper-right corner.
3. Verify the version number begins with 1.00.01. If you have this version number, you already have the update for Plus! for Windows
XP.

It does begin with that... My next problem... My Plus Labyrinth definitely
has a problem. I downloaded the bonus pack for it, and the same thing
occurs. I do not get the options such as race the clock (or whatever it's
called) while I know that you do with the bonus version, so anyway, I know
the bonus has not been installed.
