This problem just started a few weeks ago. When I go to
print a photo to my HPdeskjet 940C color printer I get a
message "insufficient memory to complete operation." My
IS department states my computer has plenty of memory.
They just don't have the time to figure this problem out,
can anyone help me, thanks

In all probability this problem is caused by some problem with the
printer driver. Try:

1. using another printer
2. update/refresh the printer driver from HP's web site (the IT dept
will probably have a rule against you you doing this, but if they won't
help you I guess you are on your own).
