Help! Without any provocation, my MS Outlook email has
suddenly started asking me for my username and password
when I attempt to log on. I am completing this each time,
clicking on 'OK' and within seconds the box pops up again.

Can I lose this box? I have not attempted to do anything
with the system that might cause this to suddenly happen.
Can you advise me, please?

It is probably the mail server at your ISP.

Hi - I know it is asking for an ID and password, but for
what - your POP, SMTP, etc...?

in outlook, go to tools e-mail accounts click on change
click more settings and make sure it is set to password
authentication.
