Set up a shortcut to Outlook in your Startup folder, and then change
Outlook, Tools, Options, Other, Advanced Options, to show Calendar in
'Startup in this folder:".
Another option is to use a free program called Rainlender ... displays a
nice little calendar on your desktop with dates highlighted that
corresspond to Outlook appointments (expanded info viewable app'ts by
running your mouse cursor over the date).
