Microsoft Office will not start

When I try to start Microsoft Office 2000, I get a Microsoft Outlook pop up
window with the following message, "Microsoft Outlook has encountered a
problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience". The pop up
window also says an error report was created and asks if I want to send the
report. Any ideas?

Did you try running Detect & Repair? (Help menu of one of the other office
apps)
