Microsoft Office Picture Manager

M

Michael R. Page

This came with my Office 2003. I notice that everywhere I go, internet,
intranet, My documents, etc shows up in the "Recently Browsed" shortcuts
when I open the program. It also shows all the files in those locations.

I cannot remove the "Recently Browsed" shortcut from that viewing pane.
Believing it to be like the documents that show in the start menu
"Documents" shortcut I have been deleting these folders, (Temporary Internet
folders).

I deleted a folder from this Office Picture Manager viewing pane recently (a
Network folder) and IT ACTUALLY DELETED IT FROM THE NETWORK!!!!!!!! I was
able to restore from back-up but it was a little scarey to say the least.

Can this be how it's suppose to work and can it be corrected? Please
someone help me.

Thanks.

This isn't really the best newsgroup for this question, Michael - this
newsgroup is for questions about Microsoft Access. However, based on my
memory of discussions during the Office 2003 Beta, my understanding is that
yes, this is how it is supposed to work, which means unfortunately that no,
it can't be 'corrected' because as far as Microsoft are concerned, it is
already 'correct'. Go figure! :-(
