What are you doing to generate this error? It's a very odd one, since
Access is NOT designed to send EMail at all - if you need to send
emails from an Access application you must write VBA code to do so,
and it uses an installed email application such as Outlook to do so.

if you lost the training wheels and started using 'Access Data
Projects' it would be quite easy; and you would only need to setup mail
on the db server-- not on any desktops

chalk that up under 'yet another reason that mdb is silly and adp is
the answer to all your problems'

Hi,

It's not really an access application as such. One of our users generates
reports in response to requests from senior management and sends these
reports in RTF format using the Outlook client.

He generates the report, then clicks on File, "Send to", "Mail Recipient (as
Attachment). This usually creates a new mail message and inserts the report
as an attachment.

Since I've upgraded him to Office 2003 and Windows XP, from Windows 2000 and
Office XP, this feature has stopped working.

The peculiar thing is, that it does work on some machines here with the same
software installed.
