How do I stop Microsoft Messenger ? I have tried
Add/Remove. I have cleared "load on start" etc from the
messenger itself. I have gone to "services" in the control
panel and stopped and disabled it but still it persists in
continually sending me messages and reloading each time I
start the computer even though it says it is disabled.
PLEASE help !
Thanks,
Fred

Windows messenger is a chat program
Microsoft Messenger is a web notification service that was
intended for system administrator use to notify users that
the server was going to shut down at 4:00 PM or that coffee
break was cancelled.
