Microsoft mail not working

I get the msg that mail has stopped working when I try to open an attachment
from email. Mail shuts down and then restarts. I also get the same thing
when I try to down load something from internet explorer...... Can someone
help..... Please???
 
Sounds like your antivirus is running amok.
Which antivirus are you running? Some of them are not fully
compatible with Windows Mail.
