Microsoft jet database engine can not find object

Hello,
I have been having trouble with a shared database ever since our server
recently went down. I now have an error saying "The Microsoft Jet database
could not find the object 'Databases'. Make sure the object exists and that
you spell its name and the path name correctly." Of course I can see the
database but ever time I attempt to open it I get this error. I have tried
various recovery programs (Jet Comp 3.5,etc) but still no luck. Any help????

Thanks

I an going to guess that a path has changed or the read, edit delete
etc. rights for some or all users for a directory have changed. Note, make
sure that not only the MDB's are accessible, but also any workgroup files
and any linked files.

You've tried importing into a new MDB? There are a few more things you can try but
they aren't that likely to work.

For more information on corruption including possible causes, determining the
offending PC, retrieving your data, links, official MS KB articles and a list of
vendors who state they can fix corruption see the Microsoft Access Corruption FAQ at
