Microsoft Java and Norton

Has anyone had any problems with Norton products after uninstalling the (soon
to be discontinued) Microsoft version of java? My norton products started
acting up after I uninstalled this software and I am not sure if this is the
source of the problem or if it is something else?

The "soon to be discontinued" MS version of Java has long *been*
discontinued. ;-)

I recently got around to uninstalling MS version of Java and replacing the same with Sun Java.
No problems with Nortons (currently 2005).
Recently installed Sun Java on another computer that didn't have Java, no problems with Nortons.
