I was having trouble opening a .msi file (vdmSound 2.0.4
from
https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=20091&release_id=46941
to be specific)
so I figured I needed to update/reistall Windows Installer.
However, after searching for a LONG time for it, I finally
found the support page, but there doesnt seem to be an
instal l XP (2000, but no XP). Is there an update/install
for XP?

Windows Installer error
Go to Start/Run and type: regsvr32 msi.dll
then
Go to Start/Run and type
SFC /SCANNOW
Make sure you have your WinXP CD in the CD Drive before executing the SFC
command.
