As a novice I need some help with some questions on using my Fax Console.

1. I can not fax from my computer.
2. I was able to fax before.
3. I need simple help (not too complicated short of throwing this machine
out the window)

Control Panel
Phone and Modem Options applet
Modems tab
Select the modem (if not already)
Properties button
Diagnostics tab
Query Modem button

Is the modem successfully queried? You should see a bunch of result
codes for various commands sent to the modem.
