Microsoft excel installation is not working?

This a new computer with a trial version of Office 2003. I followed the steps
to activate and register. It says that it successfully activate the
software. Then close the program and reStart computer. All programs works
except excel application. When I click to open Excel a screen saying: Please
wait while Windows configures Microsoft Standard Edition 2003 appears.
Then anothher screen says: A required file SKU112.CAB could not be found.
then another that says: Fatal error during installation.
What to do to restore Excel function?

I cannnot help becase I have the same problem. I tryed removing the trial
version of Microsoft Office Standard Edition 2003 and now Installation Error
SKU112.CAB comes up everytime I try to access MSN or Inter Expor browser or
anytime theres a pop up. Drives one nuts!! Hope we find some help.
