Microsoft Certification

Hi all

I have been writing in Access since version one but never trained for a
certification. What the best way to train and achieve certification? Is
college possible or can it be done from home.

I have often been asked if I have SQL experience. I have used and modified
it many times. Does this mean I am experienced or is there some further
mystique to it?

There hasn't been an Access cert for a long time.

Ask those people what they mean. Some people innocently refer to SQL
Server's T-SQL language as "SQL".

Access certification is aimed at the information worker and not the
technology specialist. I think it's a good way to start though because it
will test you basic skills to the test. If you pass for the exam you have a
general knowledge of Access in general (all the objects) but not VBA.

Don't be ;-)

It's still Information Worker technology. Although I think that a lot of
people should take this to be able to see 'all' the general options in Access
(and the rest of Office).

And when done you get a title MCAS (microsoft certified application
specialist)
