Microsoft asks for product key to download. Mine won't work

If I try to download a template to access, it asks me for the product key.
Mine won't work, although I have already registered my office professional.
Am I doing something wrong.?
 
I haven't heard of this happening before. Possibly if you could provide a
little more detail about what you're downloading, and from where, someone
might be able to see what the problem might be.
