Microsoft approved themes?

Is there any website where I can download themes/styles for Vista that don't
require replacing uxtheme.dll ? I couldn't find it on Microsoft website. I
need some very simple theme which will look like Royale theme for Windows
XP. I have Vista Home Premium.

In fact I have already patched my uxtheme.dll and two other libraries, but I
am afraid that system will automatically replace them with oryginal ones,
during Windows auto-update - thus making my current theme unusable or even
it will be unable to load current theme (downloaded) and Windows will be
unable to work.

hello...

there are no other MS approved themes

there is a special tool to replace and patch the files for you, its called
vistaglazz
and I have used it and its very easy and user friendly

make a restore point before you do it though...

then google the terms "deviantart visual styles" and go to deviantart,
browse through the visual styles,
there are many made for Vista now..

ALSO there are some that work with Vista BASIC that do not need the AERO 3d
desktop.. I have used those on an older machine too
