Microsoft Antispyware

I downloaded Microsoft AntiSpyware, but it keeps freezing
on me....any suggestions?????

All help would be appreciated.
 
What happens? Can you tell what threat it is detecting when it freezes?
Can you see the name of a registry location or file?
