Microsoft anti-spyware expiry pop up

Hi,

whenever i start microsoft anti-spyware, a pop up comes up
in red saying that program expires july 2005 and the anti
spyware program quits. This is a problem which has started
occuring recently. It used to be ok before. It has also
stopped loading up on start up. I have tried running the
update utility, removing and re-installying microsoft anti
spyware but nothing helps. Please help.

You need to go to control panel, where the international locale settings are
made, and drill down to the place where the long and short date formats for
the locale are set. These are drop-down controls. Set these controls to
the topmost setting, and see whether that fixes this.
