Ya, i am new user of microsoft access from Malaysia. I would like to ask some
question from anyone in this forum. I am doing my report for my lecturer. He
want me to design a database by microsoft access. There are 3 part of it. I
have finished two part already. The uncompleted part is automatic update the
closing price (from stock market) of one manufacturing company into the
microsoft access. Could i know the Microsoft access can do the automatic
update the closing price from the this website
http://www.klse.com.my/website/bm/market_information/prices/index.jsp
into my database. Thank

2nd answer to the same question

This sounds strange ?? It's either someone in a broker who does not
understand access or a student wanting the work done for them or a broker
wanting free IT work.

Either way (it will cost you) - you will have to pay for the stream - or if
the tags get changed on the site (you have no control over this) then you
links will not be correct.

This is how they make a profit - they "will alter the tags" randomly (I would)

But - No problems :)

Go to this site (PDF). You will find a price list for streaming.
http://www.bursamalaysia.com/websit...ts_resources/downloads/IP_ISLA_Price_List.pdf

Use a schedule to import this stream as a csv then link to an access DB.
Most FX's will stream to you as a csv and if this one cant - then use another
that can.

Good luck
