Microsoft Access 2007 form size defaults to size of window

In Microsoft Access 2007 I can desing a form of any size, but when form is
opened it opens at the size of the access window, not the size in the design.
How can I fix this?

Are you sure that you have changed the setting of the currentdb to
overlapping windows? By default the forms are displayed 'tabbed'. Look under
the Office button -> Access options - current database en check the
radiobutton for this option. When you have closed the database en reopened it
you should be able to work with 'regular forms'.
