Microsof Outlook Outgoing E/mail problems

-I can't send e/mails on my M/S Outlook2000. Incoming e/mails are OK, so is
the internet browser. My outgoing e/mails are just stacking up in my out-tray.
All my settings are OK.
Any advice gratefully received.

First things first, I love the display name!

There is one possible solution that I can think of to your problem. If it
does not work, then I am sorry for wasting your time.

Are you able to send your messages when you click on send/recieve?

If you are then the problem lies in one of your settings.

To resolve this follow the simple instructions below:

tools>options>mail set up (along the top) > there may be a box labeled send
immediately when connected (depending on what version you are running) Make
sure this is checked.
