Microfilm Scanners

Can anyone suggest a scanner that will do Microfilm (35 mm reels) that
doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

I see that Vuescan has a microfilm setting under transparency, but my Epson
RX500 certainly doesn;t have the resolution needed, and my Canon FS2710
would require a scidssors taken to the reel, which is not acceptable.

Any suggestions?

Cheers,
Jim Guthrie

Give it a rest, doofus.
I had some suggestions, but you've pissed me off now, so I'm not
telling.

How much are your arms and legs worth?

I'd look into the Nikon models with automatic film feeders. Keep in mind
that no matter which way you go, this will be a time-intensive
undertaking.
