Anyone seen a driver for an old Mustek MFS-8000SP Flatbed scanner that will

The Mustek site has several driver upgrades for XP. I don't know
about your model. The caveat here is that the driver upgrade may
be one for Win2000 which you then need to patch up to XP. (eg:
you DL the Win2000 ver. and then DL the patch to transform it to
an XP version. Strange, but works (did for my 1200 III EP.)

I think Mustek considers this a dead line of scanners. I had to ditch
my 8000SP a couple of years ago when I built a new computer with a
motherboard that had no ISA slot. My scanner used a proprietary ISA
SCSI card, and I tried an Adaptec PCI SCSI card that the Mustek site
implied 'might' work, but I never got it to communicate. Too bad,
because I really liked the 14" bed, but if you can live with 11, the
good news is that there are many much cheaper, much more advanced units
available today.
