Method to accum data

Hi,

I have two tables, PARTS MASTER and SALES DETAIL. SALES DETAILS records all
sales (qty sold) of PARTS. I would like to create a method to accumulate the
total parts sold by part number. This monthly event could stored data in a
table or a query. It is for reporting.

it's not unusual for a posted to question to not be answered for several
hours - up to a day or more. once you post a question (the queries NG was a
good choice, btw), please wait a reasonable period for a response before
re-posting the question, whether in the same NG or a different one.

if you really feel that you posted in the wrong NG, and want to start a new
thread in a more appropriate one, then it's courteous to post a message to
your original thread, stating that you're abandoning it, so nobody wastes
time on it.
