Messenger

I have been able to stop windows messenger from
automatically starting when Outlook has been started by
removing the option from Outlook tools options. I also
use Outlook express news reader and have removed the
check box that automatically logs in messenger. However,
even with this unchecked messenger is automatically
loaded and will not unload because it says a program
running (outlook express) needs it. How do I stop (not
disable or remove) messenger from automatically logging
in when outlook express is run (remember I've removed the
check mark already in tools options.
