Hi, my new boss says that at her previous employer they had an instant
messenger program that was in the system tray (she says it had an icon that
looked line an "N"), and whenever she wanted to IM someone internal, she
could click on that, bring up a list of employees and send them a quick
message and see responses. She believes it was a part of Office 2003.
Unfortunately she doens't know the name of it, and I'm not sure either, as I
haven't played with IM much. Anyone know what I might be looking for?

Thanks Kathleen. That is what I thought. Any suggestions for a cheap option
to do what I am describing below. I actually have Office Communication
Server 2003/2005, but don't have it installed. Do you know if it will do the
trick?
