Messenger startup

Since I installed the XP service pack 2 whenever I open
Outlook Express the windows messenger opens. How can I
stop this? I followed all the instructions in the help
site and none of them worked. This is very annoying.

To stop this behavior, close Outlook Express, then download and run the following .reg file:
