I also have this issue as well. I have been told by
other technicians that this is a problem on the MS
Messenger server on the Microsoft site. Looks like we
have to wait until it 'clears itself up. However, this
did happen after upgrading to Messenger 6.1...
How long has this been happening? If it just started today, just simply try again in a few
hours.

Unistall 6.x version remove the regestry keys, download
and install 5.0 and it will let you login
