Messenger 6.1 download error

I keep getting 'error 1600' when trying to download MSN
messenger 6.1. I'm using XP pro with SP1. The included
windows messenger works fine, but I want 6.1 with it's
expanded capabilities. Can anyone help with this
problem? I've tried to download from the website and save
it on my HDD to install. I've also tried to run it from
the website too. Both end up with the same error.
 
Try downloading from download.com or google some other
site to get it from.
