messaging interface has returned an unknown error

Sometimes when opening up colleagues calendar's I get the following error:
"The messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem
persists, restart Outlook"
Untill I restart outlook it won't let me access the calendar that caused
this error to appear.
We are using Outlook 2007 and I know that I'm not the only person to see
this message. Does anyone know how to stop this happening?

Could somebody from Microsoft please respond to this question. We are having
the same issue as so are lots of other people. Is raising a ticket at
Microsoft an option or is Microsoft working on this issue already? Office
2007 SP1 did not solve this problem unfortunately.

Thank you.

if you have a support contract, its best to open a ticket for it. While I'm
sure they are working on it, those of us providing support in this forum
don't always know what the status of bugs are or if hotfixes are available
for testing.

Has there been a resolution to this? What's the hotfix that "R_CAxcelis"
mentioned in the Dec 5,2007 post at 12:14pm?

I'm looking to fix this for several employees in my environment, including
myself!

Thanks,
Rob

I have the same problem (error) too. This error occurs when open two of our staff's calendars. We try restarting doesn't work. What works is restarting the computer...but no wants to restart their computer everytime you can't view a colleague's calendar.

How many times do you intend to repeat this? I count four so far.
