messages suddenly disapear from all ISP accounts

Scott

Hello,

Recently while using outlook my messages have been
disapearing from all my folders. This happens for local
and remote folders from both hotmail AND my ISP e-mail
box. I uninstalled outlook then reinstalled and it
happened even with the first message that is automatically
placed in the inbox when you open outlook for the first
time. The inbox will have the number of messages next to
it, but once I click on it, the messages disapear as well
as the number of unread.

I'm using outlook express 6 under windows XP with all the
latest service packs.

If anyone can figure this out, I would greatly appreciate
it. Thanks!

This group supports Outlook from MIcrosoft Office. Outlook Express is a
part of Internet Explorer (actually Windows) and is not related, despite the
similar names.

Having said that, a good site for issues with Outlook Express is
http://www.tomsterdam.com.

Also, for your specific problem, make sure you don't have a View set on your
in-box such as unread messages.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Scott asked:
