Messages marked as replied to or forwarded

I am using Outlook 2000. I used to have an arrow that faced left on a
message when I had replied to it or that faced right when I had forwarded it.
That is no longer happening on messages. Is there a setting that somehow
changed? I have looked all over for an option.
 
I found my own answer. I had put the category for Messages in the inbox and
didn't have the icon category there. Icon is the one that will show whether
you replied or forwarded a message. Hope this helps someone out.
